macmillan cancer support fundraiser: thank you!

WALK FOR MACMILLAN CANCER SUPPORT - A BIG THANK YOU!

Every day 822 people in the UK are told they have cancer. Macmillan’s ambition is to reach and improve the lives of every one of these people and the two million already living with the disease. They provide the medical, emotional, practical and financial support they need. It’s a big ambition but something we can all help with.

On Saturday, we are took part in a fundraising walk around Carsington Water as a dedication for our lovely Dad, who very sadly passed away in February to Lung Cancer.

Over 150 people registered and took part, and the sun was shining down on us all! We managed to complete the walk in just over 2.5 hours, & we enjoyed every minute.

I honestly can't thank you enough for all the supportive messages and very kind donations by all of you, (including those of you who are still sending in their donations now! - it's never too late!) as you know EVERY penny raised will fund more of Macmillan's vital services and help them to develop new ways to change lives.

THANK YOU FOR DONATING!

We are all affected by cancer. We can all help.
